    ... for the lift. As the son was taking photos of his parents, I didn't notice at first but Kate was posing with a grinning face as tho she were having her photo taken - she was photo bombing! I wondered why he kept taking photos in the line - surely not an exciting back-drop but then I saw him pointing to Kate and showing his parents the photo with Kate's head in the top corner - it was very funny and still makes me laugh :D ...

    ... Macy's was used as the department store in Elf, but it was given a different name in the movie - Gimbels. The reason Macy's wouldn't let their name be used is because they objected two lines in the movie, which is when Buddy says to the department store Santa, "You sit on a throne of lies" and "you smell like beef and cheese". Macy's didn't want their customers thinking their Santa was a fake and smelled like beef and cheese! So they missed out ...
