... It was organized as an R&R meaning very few planned activities; dinners were preplanned as a group but the rest was ‘do whatever suits you’ whether it be hiking, biking or exploring nearby towns and attractions. It was great! Nice people, interesting conversations, tips on places to go. I enjoyed it.

We did have one organized afternoon visit to the Riverside Inn in Cambridge ...

... light. Everyone gasped as the power cable rolled up the flagpole and harmlessly dropped off the end. The hippies on the bus looked terrified, a few seconds ago they were holding up placards calling for action on energy use, and now they were about to accidentally lower the electricity supply for this part of Manhattan at least. ... the hood of the truck and discovered a problem with the turbo charger. We located a Chevy dealer about 14 miles away and headed there with black smoke pouring out of the exhaust. At the dealer's we discovered it was the hose on the turbo booster which blew off. They couldn't fix it but directed us to a Ford Truck Service Center south of Cleveland. The second dealership brought us luck and we purchased a blue Polaris 400 for $4,700, loaded it in the truck and were off back to the Cases'.
