    Cons: This hotel room was small, outdated and only had one small window.
    Pros: Location (the place is about a block from the cavern entrance), clean, inexpensive.

    Stayed the night whilst traveling along Route 66. Camp fire and football keeps ups!

    The drive through Ohio this morning was miserable. It rained very hard several times limiting visibility. There was a very serious accident on Interstate 71 on the way to Columbus, It involved a car and a semi. The semi won and he was in the median.     This resort is another one with a beautiful pool (and another one available to us through Resort Parks International).
    We went into Hermann, toured the Stone Hill Winery, the Hermann Wurst Shoppe, stopped in a Brewery (for Greg, of course), and then had a bite of BBQ. A good day, despite the oppressive heat (which seems to be the theme of this summer's travels!)
