After yet another sleepless overnight
trip on the Greyhound- we were determined to make a good start of the
day instead of our usual nap. We headed straight out and treated
ourselves to a proper American breakfast to stand ourselves in good
stead for the day ahead. Our first impressions of Memphis... well it
was a Ghost Town …
Popeye, Armadillos, and cotton
We traveled through 5 states today. Chester , IL is the home of Popeye, the Sailor Man - bet you didn't know that, we sure didn't! We knew we were getting to the south when we started seeing dead armadillos along the road and, of course, cotton fields!
We were just leaving a gas (I/O=input/output stop) in Illnois when we say a van pulling …
The King

Eli lähtiessämme BR:stä kohti New Orleansia, bussiin tuli varsinaisen ajajan …

Really more of a motel and not really a hostel. No common areas
Right off Beale Street, clean.
Absolutely the worst beds ever. The floor would be a more comfortable alternative.
Plus for the large relatively private bathrooms.
