    Girls trip to Niagara

... a long weekend. We arrived at the road in front of the falls and gazed in wonderment at the towering hotels and swarms of tourists. To our surprise there was not one, but three Marriotts overlooking the falls. We managed to find ours- the 'gateway inn' and proceeded inside to check in. Feeling like kids playing an adult game we tried to compose ourselves and not show our immaturity and excitement too much as we headed up to floor 7. The Marriott was sure posh, but not ...

The road is in good condition just full of traffic, got into one small traffic it only lasted a half an hour. I have been using trucks to clear the path ahead and the trick is to not get stuck when there ...

... me away. I don't think it helped the first sighting was of the considerably rubbisher American falls. They are the ones they don't put on the postcards! First stop was the Maid of the Mist boat, which takes you past the American falls and into the plunge pool of the Canadian Horseshoe falls. This was a bit more like it! As you get further into the waterfalls you actually see less due to the amount of mist being pumped into the air. I was one of the last on ...
