... we returned to our room around 8:15, we found that John's luggage had NOT been delivered. He was NOT a happy camper, to say the least! A call to the tour director and the front desk and some searching by the bell staff---suitcase found and delivered before 9. A long day but the next would be more exciting as we would get up close and personal with the falls.

... it was nice and chilled, as it was getting quite warm outside. We set off walking along River street towards the falls, and we could hear them before we could see them; they were so loud!

Eventually, we could see the American Falls through the trees and underneath the bridge ahead. Amazing, but nothing compared to what we were about to see. Finally, we caught sight of the Horseshoe falls (the ones you think of when you picture Niagara Falls), and they were just ...

... to see her! She treated us to a sushi dinner, it was pretty swell! We got the full package to view the falls! We went on the Maid of the Mist, the journey below the falls and the creation of the falls 4D adventure! After a long day of exploring the falls we made a fire and made s'mores! It was a lovely way to end the Niagara Falls trip! A shout out to Leslie (mom) for coming and visiting, we love you so much! Until next time M and ...

... entirely avoid getting splashed. That's not to say I would have been taking photos with SLR's and other non-waterproof cameras like some people. Crazy. Next I caught a shuttle bus to the White Water Walk, a ten minute jaunty alongside some Grade 6 rapids (what I did in NZ are Grade 5). They look hardcore. Speaking of hardcore, by the end of the 19th century people were going over the falls in barrels. Barrels!!! Having seen them up close that is absolutely ...

... raining all day, didn't really matter as we did all the activities which you got soaked. Sorry the pictures today are from the old Panasonic Camera - we didn't dare take the new Camera on the activities, as it was we watched 1000's of camera equipment being soaked - could have been an expensive journey for some.

Well tomorrow we head back inland towards Pocono, its a day driving - so very little to post tomorrow I suspect.
