They have a memorial to the Chisholm Trail right along their farm road as it crossed the area right by their property.

Next we went to the Oklahoma City National Memorial, the site of the bombing of Journal Record Building in April 1995. We drove by, but could see the chairs and memorial pool that make up the monument.

As we ride into town this morning after not being overly impressed with what we saw last night, Miami is a town lacking in character. The major sight that we are directed to is 'the stunningly beautiful Coleman Theatre'. As we look upon.the building f we are left wondering what it is that we are missing. ... everything was pretty well booked up. So they let us go upstairs and check out the room to see how bad it would be and at first it didn't seem too bad. Everything was clean enough, just that lingering smell of tobacco. It was only for one night, so we decided to stay.

... we'd missed our turn and headed back in the opposite direction. The city was extremely quiet and traffic was light, so we found our hotel with very little trouble and were pleased to find it was a very nice one. The multi-storey car park even looked out over the city baseball park, where there was a game in progress.
