... The route has taken us a little further east than if we had stayed on the Dallas route but I didn't want to deal with that nightmare of a road system through the Big D. Of course only in Texas would you expect 2-lane highways to be 70mph :-) It's always a bit of a shock to go from the tall pines of Mississippi and Louisiana to the shorter stocker woods of Texas.
