... had a fun two person tube ride and my mom really enjoyed it - which is saying something because she hates rides! We went on that ride twice. We then went inside and did two of the slides inside, which my mom didn't enjoy as much because they were dark and you couldn't see the tunnel. I then went on the Black Hole Ride, which was similar to the Hurricane in that it is one of their major attractions and there was about a 15 minute wait. We stopped for dinner at a Perkins where we decided instead of going all the way to South Dakota, we would stop in Luverne for the night. Mom was a bit road weary and ready for a stretch and a good night's sleep.
Our total mileage for today was 386 miles. Tomorrow we're heading for the Western side of South Dakota! We'll see if we get there!
Today began with a very nice breakfast at the Best Western Inn! We noted the threat of thunderstorms and showers throughout the day and decided to stick to our original plan and head for a waterpark in Wisconsin Dells. We took the advice of last night's Front Desk Clerk and headed to Noah's Ark with the 25% off coupon that she gave us.

did. The carbon monoxide monitor kept going off. We had no gas on and
sometimes cleaning products and aftershave etc... can set it off. This
was midnight though so we checked all the gas and couldn't find
anything. It went off every 2 minutes so we cracked open the windows

to Stand Rock and that dog is still doing it now. Seaman was allowed on the tour boat and we
took a ride through the upper dells with a couple of stops for short walks at
Stand Rock and Witches Gulch. We
didn’t get done until about 4 pm and it turned out to be too late to find a
State Park or campground that wasn’t already full or reserved so we headed
south about 15 miles to Devils Lake ...
