Night 5: Philly Shore
... eyes. We couldn't though since Lucy was closed for the night. Instead of continuing down the coast, and toward Ocean City's bright lights and ferris wheel, we went inland a couple miles to a very cheap and rather creepy motel. Despite the long-term renters all around us, our room is clean and comfortable enough. Rain is moving overhead and the forecast tomorrow is not promising. Juking around the Jersey shore
... road. This is a major destination for migratory birds and the starlings were the current occupants. I learned something new, even some species of bats migrate south to warmer climates to forage for insects. We took the obligatory pictures of the lighthouse, looked for different species of birds in the wetlands and enjoyed the view from the boardwalk over the dunes.
