    ... around) it is a stunner.

    It is at altitude so when we went for a walk Sunday morning you lost your breath very easily.

    We walked along the beach front and in the pines, then travelled by car to Emerald Bay for spectacular views.

    California is one place that I want to explore in fine detail. It is so different from the rest of the US, and I really, truly love it here.

    ... still feeling shock at the drastic and unexpected change we had gone through in only a few hours.
    Today we are clean, dry and comfortable, bursting full after an Indian buffet for lunch and ready for another day or two of relaxing in this amazing town. Being able to get in touch with Lib and the family has been a relief as well.
    I am feeling very relaxed out here, ready to take on whatever lies in store for me next.

    ... been very easy to sprain an angle or worse, luckily I just suffer from sore feet afterwards! :) Towards the end of the hike, passed a couple who had a choc, black and gold Labrador, gorgeous! After the hike I spent some time exploring South Lake Tahoe, nice vibe and plenty to do / see. This is a great place to visit, can definitely see why it's so popular all year round.
