      ... we're off to our next destination, Carson City where we'll spend a full week and investigate the area as well as check out records for Lynn's 2Grandfather's time here. As I mentioned before, he came from Wales to Massachusetts and found his way here where he worked as a silver miner at the Comstock Mine in Virginia City, Nevada.

      ... in a kayak. I loved it but I think it was a bit slow for Glens liking. But he said he enjoyed it. We went out for a few coldies at the Brewery, nice little pub down the road.       ... edge of a ridge with steep cliffs down to water on both sides! It was also quite icy so when we got to Emerald Cove we decided to stop to see what we could see. What a view, very Queenstownesque. We walked the one mile down to the cove (watching all the moaning and complaining families coming up!!!) and then the one mile back up (hopefully not looking as bad as the other families!)
