We managed to take off on our 2014 Winter trip on Friday. We spent the night in West Virginia and luckily picked a place to stay south of a region affected by a chemical spill. We made it to Myrtle Beach last night. Went to church and Costco, then spent the afternoon walking the beach and enjoying the sun and warmth.

We had a great time at Sue and Helen's. We were able to spend some time with some of Helen's family, Janet, Willem, Catherine, Kace, Rowan and Georgia. As usual it was party central and lots of fun. ... t think it had anything to do with the tornado watch. Survived the rest of the night, or should I say morning. Woke up to rain and cold weather. Motorbikes not allowed in the RV Park, wtf. Had to park it at the office and walk to our site (must say, quite a long walk as this is a huge Park) whenever we used it. ... enjoyed our stay in Myrtle Beach mainly because we were right at the beach, the town was easy to get around, well laid out, they had a lot of restaurants and it is a golfers paradise there (mini, 3 par and executive courses..plenty of all). This place would be a great place to come with kids of all ages. Something for everyone!
