... ago. When we picked her up she smelled a bit like a horse- so a shower was in short order. Elena was able to finish sewingI all the blocks together for the top of her quilt. Sounds suitably creepy for the season, doesn't it? I finally learned how Door County got it's name. Door County is a peninsula that juts up into Lake Michigan and creates, on its west side, Green Bay (of Packers fame). Off the tip of Door county is an island, Washington Island.
