We arrived at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky last Sunday and camped at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground. Was a very nice campground with many amenities and we had a large shade tree on our site. That afternoon Elena and I visited the Kentucky Race Horse Retirement Center. The tour we were able to take was up close and personal with many of the horses- of whom many were former Derby winners. Our guide shared so many interesting facts and info concerning the history ...

Salad with a side of Green Knight

My name is Sir Gawain. I've got an uncle who is the King. His name is Arthur and he is the King of a large Kingdom. We were having a party for the new year. My uncle had stepped away from the ballroom and then once he left, there was a new person that popped up into the ballroom. He was completely green, like head to toe green and his armor was green as well and it didn't look like a costume. It was his skin. ...

TUESDAY 7/15-Boring drive down from South Bend only saw CORN or SOY. Got to the Campground and what a gorgeous day....In the mid 70's, sun warm and cool breeze and enjoyed opening the windows in the motorhome. There aren't many campgrounds in this area so we had to stay on the Indiana side of the Ohio River.

WEDNESDAY 7/16-We stayed at this RV park last year and had to listen to a loud concert while trying to sleep. I guess I can sympathize ...

Catching up on last couple of days. Enjoyed bowling Green-Cave City area. Took a cavern tour at Lost River Cave which included a boat ride down inside the cavern. Visited the National Corvette Museum and toured the plant where all the corvettes are assembled. Amazing that 180 pre-sold cars are made each day. Became a new fan and selected several we would love to have-at least in our dreams. Arrived yesterday to Louisville Ky. Staying at campground in Clarksville, Indiana which ...
