I got up to the lake on Monday, after stopping in Anaconda for the Noon Meeting. It's a great group of folks that I've known for a good number of years.

I stopped at the Brown Derby and had an excellent BLT for lunch. It's been under new ownership for the last three years or so and seems to be doing well. I'm glad. The owner seems to be a nice, hardworking person. I've been told that ...

He remembered me from my earlier pleas to put the snow away from our entrance. Imagine that... We talked it over ...

... br> When everyone had left, on Sunday, it got mighty quiet at the place. Lynn and I had a chance to hike a bit on the Lodgepole Trail. The Indian Paint Brush and Bear Grass were out in force. I captured a few for your viewing pleasure.

That's it for this issue. We'll be doing some local Motorhome Camping soon, so I'll keep you posted.

      Thanks for checking in...

We decided to check this little town of Anaconda that we had read about. This town was founded by one of the big copper mining magnate of the late 1800. They found copper in Butte and a smelting operation was set up at Anaconda. That operation existed until 1980 when it was shut down. We took a red bus tour of the town and ...
