    ... is very pretty when lit up. Otherwise it's average. Given the lack of preparation I should have expected as much but I didn't have much of a clue where to eat. The lonely planet donated by mum wasn't much help either as everything was so far away. I didn't think it would be much of a problem but I struggled to find somewhere to eat. I ended up in the local equivalent of yo sushi but I can't complain as it did the job and has set me up for the beginning of my trip tomorrow ...

    The weather is a little better today, still overcast but no fog so we were torn on what we wanted to do for our last day in Hong Kong. I had wanted to see the Big Buddha but it is on another island and I did not feel up to a longer trip and having to tackle the subway again so we opted for the Star Ferry over to Hong Kong Island.     ... quite reasonable we went and met up with beef again and grabbed a taxi and went to the happy valley Wednesday night races. So much fun. But it absolutely bucketed down for about twenty minutes, stopped and then it really really bucketed down for probably 2 hours.
