... a madame tussauds. We went to the viewing platform to see the skyline but as it was foggy, we didn't see it to the best extent. After all the hassle, we were not overly overwhelmed and decided to head back down. When we went to get the cable car down, the queue was horrendous! There was no way we were queuing up for over an hour for it so we found a bus station. We were pushed onto a bus that said it was going to central and managed to by pass the queues somehow. ...

This area is a very popular stop off and the starting destination for very ...

    ... we handed out.

We had a 2 1/2 hr drive from the hotel to Hong Kong and about a half hour was at the customs drive-through. Our driver was safe and followed the rules of the rode for the most part. Once we got closer to our destination many of the signs had both symbols for the airport and mouse ears, but the kids were oblivious. We kept looking at each other waiting for some reaction, but we received nothing. Even the van ...

... song, The House of the Rising Sun sung most beautifully in Chinese of course. Where else could this happen? We are standing in the middle of the road under the neon glare of a million brightly coloured lights in a state of wonder. We also saw grannies in masks dancing to heavy techno dance music, mime artists karaoke singers, hawkers and the interested like us. To say the experience felt other worldly is probably a bit of an understatement, and this is when we were ...
