So, after turning around and going back to the house only once, we made it to the airport with time to spare. Things looked good. Suitcase with poles and food and knives(lol) checked through to Madrid. Life was sweet. Took some pictures, anxiety already beginning to wain... Off to ...
Lora and I had our last walk today at Asbury Woods... I warned her, I warned her... yep, it was fine when we started and then...downpour, thunder, lightning!
We tried to press on... but it just kept raining harder and the temp was dropping... just awful!
Perhaps all the remaining days will be rain free... ya think?
