    Tis the night before flight, only 1 creature remain stirring, while the other is with wine and close to his sight blurring. Only 4 1/2 hours away... wait, this d@m- autocorrect on this new phone keeps leading thou words astray...anyway... the creature still packs to the husband's dismay. To be connived...or ...

    ... that is. Un huh. I found out there was an island nearby, other than the one on the resort. The second day I was here off I went to Anna Maria Island. It is a wonderful place with sugar sand beaches, great seaside cafes and bars and is just laid back as can be. I walked out on the beach, but didn't go into the Gulf of Mexico cuz I didn't have my swim suit along. Lots of folks were sunning themselves and just enjoying the good weather ...

    ... morning but not a single soul was sighted at the docks. I feared I may be trespassing on private land so I turned around and found my way back to the shell covered streets. Years ago the docks would take you further out in the bay where you could spot many old houseboats anchored at the piers. All of that has since disappeared.

    You always hear about 5 star hotels. Five star hotels don't even come close to our stay at Steve and Stacy's. What wonderful hosts they are!!! Steve is an excellent chef.
