... The food tasted authentic and was prepared by a Tibetan chef named Pema. We ordered a dish called "Sha-palei" which consisted of a pan-friend dumpling filled with curried beans on top of steamed white rice. Mmmm-good! ... The sun was shining for us and it turned out to be quite a nice afternoon. As it was our last night on Vancouver Island and last night with Michael we decided we'd go out for a nice dinner and then drinks. Vancouver Island

Day 2 on the Island brought us to Victoria where we went to the wax museum and the BC Museum with an IMAX presentation on the Serengeti. Weather was a little cool in the city but campfires at night kept us nice and warm.
