Then we drove through Minneapolis looking at the University and other buildings, and on to the Mall of America. This is the biggest mall in USA and is huge, we really only looked at a small portion of it. Had lunch in The Rain Forest wich is a jungle themed shop and restaurant. ...
... We hopped on our bikes in the morning hoping to beat the heat and took the trail into town. There was a few breaks as it was already pretty hot but the trail was great. Parts of it had a little shade and most of the hills weren't too big. The kids thought that it was cool when the trail went under the highway. We ended up biking a total of 21 Km's there and back. The surprise of the day was Taco King in Albert Lea. Christina and Raul Campos own this authentic restaurant in downtown Albert Lea with made to order burritos and tacos.
We are feeling wide awake and driving through the night to have more time in the Badlands tomorrow.
How has this motel rated in the past?
I stayed here for a clean bed and got one. There is not much more to it than that. Old furniture. They are in the middle of a remodel.
