I woke up at 7:30 this morning even though it was our free day so that I could Skype home so it wouldn't be the middle of the night for them. Lexx and I then met Mabs, Lyndsey and Hannah downstairs at 9am to make our way to Santa Monica beach. It was a beautiful beach and although it was a little chilly when we left the hotel after the 35 minute bus ride it had really warmed up so we had a ...

... played...but Millennium Star had other thoughts. Max beat me by just 9 coins and was chosen as the victor.

Saturday: After waking up, running a quick mile and a half, showering, and eating a pancake breakfast courtesy of Lydia, five of us (Lydia, Ashly, Max, Jordan, and I) set off for a fun day in Malibu. We took a scenic rout to get there that twisted through the mountains. We arrived at Point Dume State Park around noon and ...

... around. We had one and a half spare days left in Arizona so we checked the map to see where else we could go and decided to go to LA spontaneously. Just some kilometers before we reached LA we stopped for sleeping at a side road between a waste disposal facility and a church. ... Was good to actually workout when I haven't for 3 weeks. Especially at this place, where celebs train, big dudes train, and it's by the beach!! Oh, Some lady asked if she could photograph me. She was part of the newspaper and was doing a report on Muscle Beach. Knowing my luck the report will read "Tiny dude flexing his wanna be muscles in a ******** singlet" with my photo to it. Although, she did love my singlet - it said 'I flexed and the ...

... all that fresh sea air as LA can be very smoggy but we’ve actually had very clear days. Takes us ages to get back to the hotel so I feel I’ve earned my next cocktail.

Back to the airport Wednesday after breakfast in peak hour traffic (so very glad I don’t live here) we arrive in plenty of time to catch our flight to New York. Very excited to be on the way to cross off the no 1 think on my bucket list. Happy days!

    Much love Sammy xxx
