    ... the owner of the cafe and, with a little help from a coworker, regularly makes her way around the cafe and mingles with the customers. (SIDE NOTE: We had known that this was owned by Steven Spielberg's mother, hence the reason to travel all the way to beverly hills to a Jewish Cafe:).

    ... experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was great listening to the presentations given by past pilots on their experience with landing (etc) on aircraft carriers. I'd already read a lot about it but to hear them talking about it, and being able to relate to it, was just inspiring. Seeing some of my favourite planes on display (F14, F18, Wildcat, Corsair (WWII), Huey, SeaHawke, etc) was just the icing on the cake. Hamo, you would have loved it, ...

    ... br> Our life for the next 4 to 8 months will consist of driving to and from chemo-therapy and physical therapy in horrible Los Angeles traffic on the 405 Fwy. 2 - 4 days each week. This being the very traffic we were getting away from by moving to Kauai! But we have no complaints. God has a plan for us. He is sovereign and loves us.     Caught our pre-arranged transport to our Santa Monica Hotel, The Ambrose, a cute boutique hotel which would top all previous hotels we stayed in.
