... the hills exposing mountains far off in the west. They got larger as I headed north approaching Fort Stockton. I stopped to take pictures of the Old Fort. I expected something like Fort Apache from the TV show in the 60's. The fort was a little less impressive but I took pictures.
North of Fort Stockton the land for 100 miles in every direction had oil wells dotting the landscape to Carlsbad NM.

It has been a fast week filled with fun, laughs and much hard work. The Hobbs Habitat office has obtained tickets tonight to see the comedian Paul Rodriquez in concert. Our group arrived Sundayand everyone was busy getting their rigs set up. Our campground is a gravel lot directly across from the build site.
