    ... stores near by. I finally found some new "tennis" shoes! I've been looking for a new pair for over 4 months. Then we went to WalMart to pick up something we'd been wanting, and thus the picture that accompanies this entry.

    We stayed in Alamogordo, New Mexico, which sounded familiar. Then it hit me: Alamogordo is near "Trinity" the site of the first atomic bomb explosion. To be exact: Trinity is in the northern part of the White Sands National Monument, which we visited today--although we stayed in the south of the park where the fun is.

    Woke up this morning in the Kaibab trailer camp, Johnny woke up cranky and coughing. The cold strikes again!
