... we had plenty of time and we dropped off the hire car and checked in with no fuss. Dad then said we would try to get into the AA Admirals Club and we got straight in. Excellent!

We got a hot chocolate and a cookie and watched TV in the kids room until it was time to board flight AA139 to LAX. We had priority boarding and went straight on and found our seats. Dad had managed to book a row where we each had a spare seat between us. It was so ...

We ordered our meals (I had the beef wellington... because I had never had it before!) and sat visiting when our server, Celina, arrived at the table and began to pour a couple of bottles of red wine into two decanters. She said "you are probably wondering why I am just pouring wine for you when you haven't even ...

... for pedestrians to cross the river. This is a suspension bridge which is very bouncy .Peter had to take photos of us walking over and walking back so we felt the bridge moving considerably. A little further along the road was an enormous bridge built for the railway. This has been fully restored, as lately as 2011. Inside it soars like a cathedral with timber cross beams and wide slabs on the side. Next to this was an interesting history of, not only the ...
