... and told us we couldn't take that in there! He was actually referring to the almost finished bottle of water we had in the bag. He was going to have to confiscate it if we wanted to go in, I don't think so - I glugged the remains of the water and handed over the empty bottle, now we could go in. From the extensive list of margarita cocktails I chose a Manzanillo; with my favourite melon liqueur in & 3 other shots too, now this hit the button for me, and I had two of them ...

Had our first night in the home of the brave. Amazing weather 30 degrees and beautiful. Koreatown is actually a mix of Mexican, Korean and American and seems pretty cool. Dinner was a lot of fun and we got to try black mole and cheap beer. Back to our über hipster hotel for a late night poolside gin and juice we were ready for sleep and a new day of ...

... I laughed out loud when the gate attendant informed me it was $16.00 to park in the carpark or $40.00 !! to park near the entrance. We took the $16.00 option... He warned us it would be at least a 10 minute walk, but we figured we were up to it :) I wonder if anyone takes the $40.00 option?

This place was really good fun, taking advice from a lady at the ATM, we headed to the studio tour first. Jumping aboard a series ...

"It Has Its Pros and Cons"

Today is one example of what I mean when I answer "It has its pros and cons" to everyone's question "What's it like working on a cruise ship?"...more-so the cons part of things.

LA turnaround day. Time for a 3 day cruise. We'll be going from LA to a sea day to Ensenada back to LA. Seriously, who takes a cruise to Ensenada?! Like 80% of the passengers are too scared to get off the ship there anyway!

Christa* is here! And a new girl, Tammy* from ...
