          ... but they were simply to big/expensive/heavy, so I settled for a new purse. On getting to 2nd street, we meandered down to find somewhere to eat. We found a decent priced Italian on the strip so we decided to eat there. I had arribiatta and Jake went for spaghetti and meatballs. It was very nice!           ... then went to lunch. After lunch, we were told by our supervisor that he needed more paperwork from human resources for us to sign and, since we had finished everything he had for us, we could go home. So we did. This afternoon has consisted of blogging, writing letters, and listening to Spotify. Fun stuff:)

          This week will be busy with work, but I'll try to get another entry up before the week is done.

What a refreshing change when we walked into the foyer, no formal check in, in fact no check in counter at all!           Today was the first day that Steven was going to be at work through the day. So it became the day for a little bit of site seeing, and a lot of browsing of shops. So there's not really a lot to say!!!!!
          It was hot again - 35C so everything was done at a super slow pace.

          ... airport can appreciate my awe.With the assistance of a very helpful Jet Blue agent (I flew in on Delta), a Skycap who was wheeling another passenger in a wheelchair, a policeman guarding our safe crossing to the other side of the street, and a very nice taxi driver, we made it to our hotel in Long Beach.
