... of bears. We probably walked 16k although it did feel longer. We than had to rush back to Clearwater before the shops closed at 6pm to get more supplies. We made it to the Liquor Store with 2 mins to spare! Phew!
Could do with another night at this location but unfortunately we move on tomorrw.
... make up the majority of this park. If this wasn't enough of a wow factor we then visited Dawson falls; Wells Grays own niagra!
The last one we visited was the Helmcken Falls. This one is billed as the best, and it certainly was.
We are now in our Alpine Cabin overlooking a lake, beautiful and peaceful. Looking forward to our first home cooked meal of the trip!
... and it was over 31 seconds. We had heard no crack of lighting – just the long, continuous rolls of cloud-to-cloud thunder. I was more than a little bummed at the idea of clouds covering the mountain peaks, but we couldn't just sit and wait the storm out.

... mind. "Telegraph Road". I love abandoned places. This one was okay, but I couldn't resist at an abandoned RV-park.
Alice declined and waited in the car. I must say I took great pictures, and they really grasp the atmosphere. I had this weird feeling entering the lot and there was definitely something in the grass. I heard it moving several times, so I decided to split. Just when I took my last picture, Alice started horning the car. ...
... rather then fulfilling it. So our new goal was: Having a meal in one of the Restaurants in Clearwater,
Half an hour later we concluded that we had set even that goal at a level that was unreachable (for Clearwater at least), so we did the right thing.
We adjusted our goal once more to: Having a meal.
The A&W behind the Shell was the better choice for that. Yes having dinner is a bit of a draft here.
