... me I was strong and handsome, so it was great for the ego too. He was by no means coming onto me, the bravado and front of masculinity that men put up in the west isn't really apparent in Asia so much so people on the whole are far more honest and complimentary.
When we arrived in Chengdu Yang Ying took me under his wing. He made sure I found the right bus and we swapped email address' as he invited me to join him and his friends sometime over the weekend.
