    ... for Sinterklaas, we did actually spend a full 45 minutes trying to get out of the car park...We vowed never to go shopping on a weekend in December ever again!

    ... Bougainvillea tree, which are in bloom. The vibrant pink flowers gifted the surroundings an elegant beauty to the already lush area of country-meets-city.

    The city is also home to the 'Brisbane Wheel', essentially the same as the London Eye, and every big wheel in every town or city in the world it seems. An epidemic of oversized ferris wheels. Not that I'm complaining, it stands as a strong and attractive icon along the river.
