As it happened, we did not attend the last day of the conference due to unforeseen circumstances. We spent a fairly quiet day; we did tour Little Rock a bit more. We found the Little Rock Central High School site (still a working high school). The brave young men and women who attended that school impressed me, and when I saw the video, I was also impressed at the thought of the parents who had to send their children to this school every day...you ...

Crater of Diamonds was really nice. There were a couple of families staying by us that were so friendly – they had kids on spring break (including two boys about Dean’s age!) and invited us to hang out. ... AR (a town named just for me). Along the way we passed a few scenic lakes. We stopped at DeGray lake to stretch out legs a bit and take in the scenery. The gate to the park was closed so we parked up top by the road, by passed the gate and walked down to get a better view of the water front. On our way there was a large spider on the sign acting as park greater. We said our hellos, and continued down. The water was nice temperate ...

We made to Crater of Diamonds State Park around 1 am. We were very tired! Drake was asleep in the back all buckled in like a good boy! We pulled into our spot once we found it. You experienced RVers know you should back in. Well, we will learn from our experience! We had to run the electric cord under the camper so we could plug it in. Both of us with cell phone flashlights, on hands and knees at 1am...quite a ...
