      Apart from being such a long haul both of our flights were very uneventful, we even managed to arrive at LAX about an hour earlier than scheduled.       ... we were pretty theme-parked out and we had ridden all the major rides anyway. We checked how long the line was for "Cars" and decided that 105 minutes was not worth it, so we left the Disneyland parks behind and had yet another another look at the shops in Downtown Disney.

      After this we had a snack of sandwiches and flatbread at Coco's down the road before returning to collect our luggage and wait for our shuttle. The shuttle was early so we got to LAX ...

      ... the 'weirdos' who frequent the sidewalk in front on Mann's Chinese Theater before heading back to the hotel. One of the amazing facts we learned whole being transported along the freeways was that there is 18 million people in LA and when they were renovating one of the cross freeways, people would use a $39 flight to cross the city as it was quicker than driving!

      ... colourful ingredients. After laying out the ingredients on the fold-out table they got to work. Avocado, peppers and spices were flying left right and centre, they were juggling ingredients, barking chants every so often...who knew making guacamole was such an entertaining show.

      The lobby of the Marriott Hotel was a great spot for meeting some very interesting people. A male cheerleading team was one such memorable group.
