Awoke at about 6 am after having a reasonable nights sleep, we all had showers and headed off to IHop for brekky around 7:30. It seemed a bit pricier than the last few times I've had it, perhaps because we are in a tourist area.

Apart from being such a long haul both of our flights were very uneventful, we even managed to arrive at LAX about an hour earlier than scheduled. We had a bit of trouble connecting to the Wifi at the airport so contacting JRob was a little difficult, I eventually found a payphone (thanks Morgy for the coins) and got a hold of him, he was not that …

... Redondo Beach, spotted dolphins in the bay as we walked to the pier for lunch. Fascinating watching the pelicans skimming over the water. Mark's family, Alex and Ashley joined us for a wonderful meal at a Japanese Tepanyaki restaurant that evening. Its a real delight watching the chefs prepare the food at the table.

    Leave tomorrow for San Franscisco.
