... and was just wearing my rain jacket. The rain found its way in and I got wet! So, I stopped around 3:30 and took a motel room. An hour later the rain had stopped and the sky beginning to clear. Looks good for tomorrow!
As I said I need my GPS, I turn it on and press the Icon HOME and it plans the route for me. Three days and I should be home :-) looking forward to my own bed.
... to my front wheel wildly snaking left and right while the bike is traveling forward :-( .
I spent a lot of time in the countryside away from the highway today and even did about 30 miles of the Natchez/Trace Parkway. I did the Parkway last year on my September trip and managed to ride into a tropical storm. This years rain is mild compared to that.
Saw quite a few animals today including two deer bounding across the road ...
... last four chips on one bet but we 21 straight up and win again. We now have $50 and with a $5 tip to the dealer walk away with another $45. With free drinks all night while playing Clint is much more under the weather than I so is an entertaining walk but to the hotel rooms lol. Its 2am by this stage and a great night had by all and now I want to play black jack again haha, we are told there is a better floating casino in New Orleans... Uh ...
I had the opportunity to travel back down to Louisiana to preach for the Big Creek and Shiloh churches; I stayed with the Carman's and was also blessed by getting to visit with Ray, Hillary, and the Haden's!

... a camera for Julie - that's another story, we rode on. At Greenville, we tried to find something interesting to look at and ended up in a very traditional southern diner for lunch, eating some form of fish and Karl also had crocodile/alligator.
While there, we met the local Fire Chief who was having lunch and he took us for a run out to see the mighty Mississippi, to a place called Warfield Park - we had photos taken ...
