If I can say anything about my year living in and around Texas, I would say that it was full of culture. I say this while sitting next to a lake in the woods of Mississippi. A day after seeing a tiger in a Louisiana truck stop, and after being asked today at the Wal-Mart whether we carry protection while we camp. We had lunch at the Castle Restaurant at Dunleith Plantation. This structure was built in the 1790's and was used to house the owner's horses and carriages. The restaurant is supposed to be famous for its fried chicken, but we were not impressed- this chicken did ...

I have absolutely NOTHING to say. Today was a boring day of driving. We decided to forgo Beale Street and Graceland as really bad weather was predicted for Memphis and after seeing news this evening it was a good choice. We are now south of Jackson MS other than that I have not a clue where we are. The computer filled in the location above. Working our way home. See you soon..........
