    Travel Day

Leaving Vicksburg we headed west on I-20 across Louisiana
to Shreveport, and from there we headed north on US 71 into Arkansas and our
destination of Mena Arkansas. We arrived
at our good friends, Sue and Al, home late in the afternoon. After an enjoyable dinner at a local restaurant
we spent the evening catching up on what has happened since we last saw them.

... some diamond finding equipment. A small wood frame with a screen on the bottom, to sift through the dirt and reveal the bling. We found a nice spot in the shade of one of the only trees in the field and got to the task at hand. We sat and visited and played in the dirt for a little more than an hour. Then it was getting close to closing time so we returned our equipment. Then we went to have our loot inspected. As it turns out we didn't find any diamonds, but we ...
