... some mineral water which I really like while I was having our flights linked together. Andrew got himself a champagne and me a mineral water, he said "its got to be 5 o'clock somewhere"! Duty free was pretty non eventful, my erase paste from Benefit was good though at $32 rather than $52. Maybe on the way home. Grog is cheaper off the shelf in the States. We called mum and Lynn before we turned the phone off. We took off later than the expected 9.50 am eventually at 10.20 ...

Day 4 - Reckon and the Sydney Opera House

A travel blog entry by repickens712 on Aug 22, 2014

... really loved - it was such a fun, light name to call a group of people. After the conference ended, we made way to Manly by way of ferry. We purchased tickets, hopped on the ferry, and were off to Manly within 5 minutes tops. To top it all off, the day was absolutely gorgeous. It had begun to warm up and the skies were blue and filled with big puffy clouds. The views of Sydney Harbor and the coastline were absolutely gorgeous, and what you'd see in ...

Of no consolation at all was the fact that Max also succumbed to the auspices of food poisoning, spending all night twixt bucket and toilet. That made two of ...

... I forgot and walked to the bathroom with a wet crouch!!! The flight went really fast considering it was ten and a half hours, and we were soon in Sydney. We picked up our bags and saw that Tom's was unlocked and all of the buckles were undone. We put it behind us and went through customs and onto the 9:18pm train. We were relieved to see Tom's parents faces at Glenbrook station. We were home. We had such a great time away, we got to experience ...

      Around Lucerne

A travel blog entry by abennison on Jul 07, 2014

... Firstly we walked just a few minutes from the hotel and boarded a ferry for a cruise around Lake Lucerne. The ferry dropped us on the far side of the lake where our coach picked us up and delivered us to a railway that climbed part way up Mt. Stanserhorn. At the end of the rail trip we boarded the worlds first cabrio cable car for the remainder of the trip up the mountain. The cable car is double decked with the top deck being open and the lower ...
