    steve Finally we think we are ready for the off. Changed oil on bikes (380m) final bit of prep in scorchio heat, loaded the bikes and ready to GO.

    What does 1 taxi ride, 3 train rides, 3 shuttle rides, and 2 plane rides get you? A LOT of time to think :)

    3:00 am the morning of my departure, I gave Oli one last hug before beginning the phenomenal transportation sequence that would get me from Puch, Austria to Halifax, Canada in one day...well theoretically ;)

    ... back to universal studios with some more friends he's met. Tomorrow (thursday) he will head to either The Kennedy Space Centre "to see some rockets" or Epcot (I think another theme park thing). He will then fly Friday lunchtime to Washington DC where he has a hostel booked with some help from the fabulous Miss. Charlotte Levins (hostess with the mostess). He's going to potter round DC for the weekend then head on the bus to Philly to meet me here ...

    ... out. I had to collect my bag and then drop it off. The gate was C17.

    Decided to have a coffee and muffin, dinner having been missed $6.70 US. The flight to Toronto first showed 2030 and then 2130 due to storm conditions [4-5" of snow] in Toronto. We were then told to await developmemts, the flight finally being cancelled around 2130, leading to a scramble to rebook with Customer Service.
