In Zigong, it was tradition take the icing and put it on the face of the person who was having the birthday. They gave me the honors to put the icing on Baby Le Le. She was so excited and happy for her day. This precious little baby celebrating her first birthday was a blast. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to experience this celebration.

At the end of the day, the kids would get prizes depending on how many stamps they had.

... 3 with OPI polish was 68 Yuan ($10 US). The girls left to visit the Temple and Doc and I went to Wal-Mart to purchase a tape player. All of our Chinese practice materials are on tapes, no CD's yet. Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart any place you go. This Wal-Mart is 2 stories located next to the KFC and they sell everything but butter and cheese. We headed home just in time to get ready for Friday Night at the Movies at the Eaton’s.

We are greeted by several large jars of Chinese Wine, (spirits) but one in particular catches Nikki’s eye and it almost appears to have come straight from a high school biology classroom as it is full of snakes, probably 100 in number. They tell us the snakes make the beijo good for our health. Really? We are taken back to our private room and now it’s decision time. What do we want to eat? ...
