... for the feast planned for Christmas Day. An apparent spur of the moment decision had them visiting a factory outlet attached to a chocolate factory on the way to the supermarket. They returned loaded with provisions from both the supermarket and the chocolate factory! The supermarket was much less chaotic than those at home generally are on Xmas Eve. Following lunch, Max saddled up for a ride on his electro-stimulation bike which looks like a cross between some futuristic piece of ...

I have a friend that has a ranch, but didn't go there and normally Powwows and rodeos are on weekends, and we weren't there when they were going on. So...while in Iowa, I took Dolly to a Casino. Don and Barb had mentioned one about 30 miles west of Muscatine, so that's where we went.
As we pulled up, it ...

... as cold as we've had it since we've been away.

As we had been up the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur we decided to go up the Willis Tower here in Chicago. Again it's very impressive. The Skydeck is on the 103rd floor level and provides views for up to 50 miles looking out over 4 US States. Beyond the City itself there is a magnificent view of Lake Michigan. It's 307 miles long - how on Earth can you call it a lake?? It's an Ocean!! On the ...
