      ... for a better choice! Nani, should be glad though, to have my mom sponsor her, as she's sure to cause some major ripples that may very well hit frugal Germany by storm to get going and do some good for these lovely creatures. Once Tara gets here, we'll have a grand family reunion and tons of photos of the four of us to hang over our hypothetical hearth :) Now how about you go adopt one right now?       We awoke to the sounds of the great Australian wildlife! Got our things packed and left for port Macquarie. It was a little bit of a drive but driving in marge is a pleasure! We stopped off at North brothers lookout which was recommended by our hosts for the night. The views are incredible!! There was a guy getting his parachute ready to jump off too :) We then arrived at our accommodation in port Macquarie, dumped our bits and headed to the koala hospital for ...

      ... and colourful horsemen statues at the front … and alas, unable to stop by the side of the road to take a photo - hence a photo from google images.

      I couldn't see the shop which used to be near - or perhaps in front of - the temple. That shop used to have lovely Indian style trinkets ... but as the sun was setting and we still had a couple of hours drive to Port Macquarie, there was no time to turn ...

      ... Following signs to the Tourist Info Centre, said it was in 4 kms, although we seemed to be in the middle of town. So we followed the sign anyway, and eventually found it - yes, 4 kms out of town. By this stage we had had enough, and decided to push on.

      We drove past Forster and Tuncurry as George informs me we had been there before. I really don't remember, but OK, I'll take his word for it. We pushed on to Port Macquarie. Now we have definitely been there ...

      ... the canvas behind the musicians. I’ve no idea why and at the time it seemed unimportant but looking back on it, it was somewhat obscure. There must have been some trendy, fartsy reason why. We trundled back to hostel, all of us looking forward to a nights rest and me and Chris crashed out, but not before an episode of Suits was watched, a series Chris has only begun to immensely enjoy.
