Another bike ride back to the shops for a drink and look at the painted rocks and then back to the hostel and returning the bikes before dark. A busy busy day for us and another early morning tomorrow!!

On another note, we were very saddened by the news of the Malaysian Airline disaster. Every TV channel has been broadcasting the story and the crash pictures relentlessly, and it is a very sad day indeed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the families ...

... day before. It was the trust that had been so willingly put upon us that was strange or perhaps that’s just because us British people find it unnatural when strangers are nice to us. Nevertheless we spent our time with a bottle of Port and a few episodes of Suits to entertain us. Port is an incredibly moreish drink and the bottle was soon drained. We fell into a deep sleep once we got into our beds, temporarily immobilised by the alcohol.

The next day was our last ...
