Well day 4 was miserable to say the least. It started bright and early at around 630 am. I walked out of the hotel and it was raining heavily. At this point I knew I was in for a real suck fest of 400 miles of a cold, miserable existence. I pulled out and donned all the rain gear I brought with me. ... to stay in Fillmore, Utah. We found a clean and sweet motel named the Capitol Motel. It turns out Fillmore was slated to be the capitol of Utah. The streets were six lanes wide!! Then they decided it was too remote and changed it to Salt Lake City. The folks in Fillmore were friendly and hospitable and the motel was so inexpensive, $30/night, we decided to stay 2 nights.
