    Very cool Motel 6!

Even though Motel 6s aren't known for being the nicest motels, this was a cool one. It had your typical flashy Vegas sign, and modern rooms that made you feel like you were in Vegas. For $30 a night, it did the trick for a one night stopover

... based performance by Cirque de Soleil, with fire too. Very amazing - the sheer strength and acrobatics, together with the light and water show were amazing. Mum loved it the most, we all appreciated the talent and creativity, but waaaay tired by this stage! Let's just say any of us had been driving..we wouldn't have got to our destination. Multiple microsleeps, eyes hanging out of our head. 8.30 pm by this stage, called it a night & meandered back to ...

There was an opening scene with synchronised swimmers while men in red jackets ran around. There were 3 diving boards with divers that jumped of them while the swing swung back and forwards. There were clown on a house boat that floated in and out, there was a ...

... a pole dance, actually I think everyone pole danced. Whole bunch of **** went down that night and 3 of the 14 don't remember what It was. We felt like celebrities in our party bus cruising the strip. Bus took us to Fremont st where we saw the light show - was ridiculously amazing. No words can describe, has to be seen to be believed. If you don't know Fremont st, I suggest you google it. As you'll see from the photos, there is many street performers that just need a tip if ...

    ... it.

In the evening we went out for dinner with a friend of the family we had in New York, with true New York hospitality he treated us to our dinner, then in true New York style he took us to a different place for dessert and coffee. This was a great place, the kind of place that you know exists, but as tourists are just about impossible to find, we relaxed on a comfy sofa, enjoyed our dessert and whiled away a great evening.
