I spent 3 hours in Death Valley and drank a liter and a half of water...this was not enough riding a motorcycle in 42C temperatures. When I rode out of DV and into the nearest town (40 miles away) I had to stop and get something to eat and drink as I was exhausted. Even though Motel 6s aren't known for being the nicest motels, this was a cool one. It had your typical flashy Vegas sign, and modern rooms that made you feel like you were in Vegas. For $30 a night, it did the trick for a one night stopover
