In the evening we went out for dinner with a friend of the family we had in New York, with true New York hospitality he treated us to our dinner, then in true New York style he took us to a different place for dessert and coffee. This was a great place, the kind of place that you know exists, but as tourists are just about impossible to find, we relaxed on a comfy sofa, enjoyed our dessert and whiled away a great evening.
