... the resort didn't even seem to mind!) So then it was just the TSA check and a wait at the boarding gate before finally getting on the plane, phew! Pretty uneventful flight to Phoenix and even arrived early! Off that one, find out our boarding gate for the next leg has changed, go to the gate and wait. After a twenty minute drive to downtown Phoenix I tried to stop by a restaurant for lunch, but unfortunately they were not open at 2:30 - for some strange reason their hours were 4pm to midnight. So I guess it would not have been too kid friendly anyway.

We've had a wonderful week since our last day of work last Friday. Cory and I both had retirement parties at work and it was wonderful to exchange stories with our colleagues. We spent some time with both Cory's parents and my parents in Prescott last week. We've stayed with my son Tom and his girlfriend Rebecca for the last few days. It's nice to spend these last days with family.
