    ... but slow as we stuck to the speed limit. With cruise control the driving couldn't be easier, and the beautiful picturesque farmland of Vermont's lower valleys made it a pleasant drive.     ... on towards the end of the Catskills loop. I'm thinking it's some kind of ABS sensor issue. Brakes still work (and quite well). Also, the speedometer doesn't register for the first couple miles after restarting the bike.

  • seem to be getting the better part of 40 mpgs (according to the computer). I think it might be closer to 50 (went 292 miles on 5.7 gallons between refueling).
