A Day on the Ground in New Plymouth
Today we slowed down and caught our breath for the rest of the Safari. Laundry started the day followed by a good chat with fellow Safari members over a long black (Kiwi coffee). Woke to the sound of waves breaking on the shore, sound like bloody Kipling that reminds me I need breakfast. Looks like its going to be a fine day so decided to stay here and explore the coast line and town who knows maybe a bar or two as well, might even get BC to do some shopping so we have a few snacks in the van and not just spuds, you can take the girl out of Ireland but you etc lol. Neuer Wwoofingplatz, neue Umgebung. Vor nicht mal einer Woche saß ich noch in meinem Strand-Hängematten-Wohnzimmer auf Tonga, Südsee. Das habe ich nun mit einer Brauerei 40km östlich von New Plymouth, Neuseeland, getauscht.

Geteiltes Leid ist halbes Leid

Für morgen habe ich meinen Wecker auf 5:45 Uhr gestellt. Um auch dann ausgeschlafen zu sein, schloss ich gegen 22:00 Uhr meine Äugelein.
Ich bin gespannt, was mich morgen erwartet. Daniel hat übrigens das gleiche Leid. Er nimmt denselben Bus um 7:15 Uhr. Doch steigt er erst bei den berühmten Waitomo Caves 2 Stunden später aus. So ist geteiltes Leid, (das frühe Aufstehen) halbes Leid.
