Mackinac Island
... only 500 full time residents. Most of the seasonal employees live in large dorm like buildings. They have 1 doctor and 3 vets so you know who they want to take care of....I guess that is due to the fact that cars are outlawed. We left the Lake Michigan side and traveled over to the Lake Heron side on a boring drive. No bill boards to read and not many towns to go thru. Day 5 - Crooked River Yacht Club!

So we came into a cove just outside of Alanson, MI, where I spent a lot of time as a kid with my aunt and uncle. Here I had thought we'd pull off and go to the CRYC. Well, we did. But it definitely wasn't anything I was expecting!!!!
