    ... now stands. After lunch I drove for a time until we reached Petoskey via the 131. We took a tour of the Kilwins chocolate/fudge factory and samples some of their tuttles. They also sell this fudge on Mackinac island.

    Had dinner at Dixie's saloon and restaurant in Mackinaw City. It is a real tourist town with lots of fudge, candy and souvenir shops. I had half a slab of ribs and took over half of it home. it was great to be served ...

    Went to the Soo Locks which is quite a tourist strip. Quite a few people there but not out on the streets in the rain. Watched the water rising in the lock and ships getting ready to enter and one leaving from another lock. The rail bridge over to Canada has two spans which open to let the ships through. One rises while the other opens up in the middle and each side flips up. The queue ...

    ... over the water. We took a jet ferry to Mackinac Island for the day. There are no cars allowed on the island . Only feet, bicycles, snowmobiles, and horse and carriage/wagon. We took a self guided walking tour and a narrated horses and carriage tour. Visited historic Ft. Mackinac and had lunch at the Tea Room which is owned by the Grand Hotel. Did not have time to actually tour the hotel grounds, but enjoyed riding by it. Definitely brings ...

    ... was calm and the crossing was uneventful. We only saw a couple of other boats the entire seven hours it took to travel from Oswego to Trenton, Ontario. In Trenton, we docked at Fraser Park Marina and cleared Canadian customs with just a five-minute phone call. We were given our clearance number to post on the boat during our stay in Canadian waters.     ... charge from Trump Center in Mexico. Both were denied and the account flagged. Visa feels like these were test charges to see if they would be honored. Took about 2 hours to get the account canceled and arrange for new cards to be sent to the campground by Friday. Soooo... Change your passwords.
