Today was another tourist day, so it gave us a chance to sleep in - a little. We've been dodging the rain since we left, and I guess I can't really complain, as we are in the path of some of the worst storms passing through Texas and into the middle of the country. ... yes. The Rowdy Beaver? It's the name of a local restaurant. It's known for its steaks, so, of course we had the pulled pork and it was delicious. The restaurant also had a little gift store where they sold all the possible bad beaver joke t-shirts you could imagine. We passed up this time. Tomorrow we further explore Eureka Springs.

It was a vibrate hotel for several years, then became a Ladies College during the off months and hotel during the summer months from 1908 to 1934. Then in 1937 it became Baker's Cancer Curing Hotel. Visiting our friends Dionne, Andy and Squirt has been the highlight of our trip. We headed south out of St. Louis on the I-44 before getting off and exploring some rural routes in the Ozarks.
