city itself is actually pretty ugly. It was almost completely destroyed
by a tsunami in 1964. An earthquake near Prince William Island, Alaska
brought huge waves.
After that the remained residents build it up quickly and without any architectural landmarks.

... before we left, and I really have to agree. Especially in the driving sense. Road signs are merely ‘suggestions’. I was a bit worried about our driving in Italy, hearing how awful it is. However, it wasn’t near as bad as I thought. Tom did a very good job in driving. For the experience of Italy we wanted to obtain, you have to drive.
