    ... right on a busy highway and their wi-fi and cable service are terrible. John ended up getting our satellite dish out so that he could watch Ohio State lose their game.

    We had heard that Lake Tahoe contains some of the cleanest water in the country. A familiar tag line in the brochures is that one can see a white dinner plate 70 feet underwater in Lake Tahoe. We didn't try it but believe it to be true! The lake is radiantly blue, second in depth (1645 feet) to Crater Lake (1945 feet) and quite cold to swim in!     ... still feeling shock at the drastic and unexpected change we had gone through in only a few hours.
    Today we are clean, dry and comfortable, bursting full after an Indian buffet for lunch and ready for another day or two of relaxing in this amazing town. Being able to get in touch with Lib and the family has been a relief as well.
    I am feeling very relaxed out here, ready to take on whatever lies in store for me next.
