... this coaster with a dodgy stomach gave me the confidence to do others. Though it was still a while before I felt well enough to tackle the "Supreme Scream", which is like the "Giant Drop" at Dreamworld.
We also did other coasters such as the "Pony Express", which was more thrilling than it sounds, and the "Jaguar", which was rather uncomfortable. Despite having lap bars and seat belts, the sheer speed of the ride meant me sliding into Jordan lots and we ...
We rose early for another drive back up the spaghetti freeways toward LA, this time to check out the ever-popular Universal Studios. The weather was perfect AGAIN - around 28 to 30 degrees - and despite some classic LA traffic on the way, we arrived at Universal around 10.30am. Upon entering the Park we went straight on the Backlot Tour - a slow moving ride on an open bus around the Universal Studios backlot, taking in a number of recording studios as well as several exterior sets ...
... left the park just before 8pm, wondered around Downtown Disney for a bit, ate some food and then got home in time to sleep! Long Ol' Day!!!! Wasn't as hot though...so that's a bonus. And, as per previous entry, they really do know how to treat their guests here. Even some of the toilets were air-conditioned!!!
Back tomorrow to finish off what we started at Disney and then maybe a little road trip
... fast passes (passes you get in order to skip the line at a ride) we did pretty well time wise and barely had to wait on any lines. But walking around for 6 hours is quite exhausting. We had some Haagen Daaz milkshakes and came back to the room to rest and hit the pool/jacuzzi.
I don't think much rest is in the picture though, we are planning to go back ...

We had truly become vagabonds. Living a care free life away from the rat race was refreshing. As I write this journal we have no idea where we will be in September. For most, that would be a very scary proposition but for Carmen and I.......... We wouldn't want it any other way!
