... and their historical society has done a wonderful job of marking sites, but I find it loud and busy for a small town. The park area we are in however is very peaceful.... all we here are ducks and blue jays. We were so exhausted that we missed the campground that we had planned on staying in and drove another hour only to find that we were in the wrong place. Fortunately they had room and we stayed the night. The next morning we moved on to Wisconsin. We passed through LaCrosse and ...

... our tent and packing up the camp. It is really nice having Alex at an age to help. We had the camp broken down and packed in no time at all. Off to town, we had a nice little breakfast to fuel up for the day. It is at this point I must interject that we had to make a quick stop by the hardware store, where, just the day before, I bought a pair of sunglasses after I apparently left mine somewhere in the Letchworth Park area. Now we were back, because, somehow, in less than 24 hours, I ...
