... Bridge Closed ! We once again confirmed our belief that there is nothing like Midwesterners. As we sat in the RV trying to figure out what our next move was a car pulled up and asked us where we wanted to go. We told him our destination and he began giving us directions . About halfway through,he paused and told us that he didn't have to be any place quickly so suggested that we follow him. He took us through winding roads that we never would have ...

Looking forward to what our new location can provide entertainment wise, we retire for the night.

Today we mostly drove across New York and into the popular Adirondack region. Along the way we saw everything from turkeys with chicks to deer along the road. Not sure where we were headed, we looked up white water rafting and plugged an outfitters address in the GPS. Many hours and windy roads later we meet Rebecca, the owner of ...

... the town in the evening. The kids enjoyed the gelato. We stopped at an outdoor bar named Gaffney's for a drink and snack. We sat amongst the outdoor lights and played several rousing games of UNO-my favorite family time of the dar. A quick room change (due to a street level window that wouldn't close) took us to a more spacious room. We really enjoyed our "stop over" and would love to come back during horse and music ...
