Our last day at the Happiest Place on Earth!

... it was free on the dining plan. After dinner, we made our way by monorail back to the Magic Kingdom for our last evening of Disney magic and pixie dust. The crowds were massive today at the park. Several tour groups had arrived earlier that day beginning their vacations. I think they all decided to go to the Magic Kingdom for their first park visit. We people watched for a while, waiting for the light show and fireworks to begin. I ...

This morning after breakfast with our local favorite waiter, Julio at Denny's John suggested we go to Osceola County Historical Society and Pioneer Museum in Kissimmee. The Museum was established in 1949 to preserve Osceola County’s rich past. We learned that Osceola County was founded on May 12, 1887 and is named after the famous Seminole Indians war hero 'Osceola." Cattle and steamboats played a major role in the county’s early history.
