    9/17 Day 88 We moved camp today from Moab UT to Monument Valley UT. We were supposed to go to Pikes Peak but looking at the over 9 hour trip each way and ending back where we are about 3.5 hours south of Moab for only one day there did not make a lot of sense. So we cancelled our reservations at Pikes Peak and Cortez and headed south to MV. Beside this tribal park there are several other national monuments and parks in the area for us to see.

    ... They thought it was a bus tour. HOW CAN YOU GET A BUS THROUGH A NARROW CANYON!!
    The tour was unbelievable. It was only 400 feet long, but deep. Our guide was fantastic, helpful and informative.
    The light reflection on the rocks was etherial.

    Back to our hotel - room not ready - hissy fit and a request to see the management. All fixed quickly.

    ... t!!). It was $5 each to get in and we were some of the first people there so took a bunch of pictures on the monument. Just incase you don’t know or haven’t googled it yet, the four corners is the point where Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah meet, so you can have a limb in each state!

    There wasn’t a bunch else to see….the monument was surrounded by a perimeter of little stalls selling t’shirts, american Indiana jewellery ...
